Machine Quilting Basics

Many quilters prefer machine quilting so that they can quilt those tops that seem to go together faster and quicker. Machine quilting can also be a form of self expression for many. With machine quilting it can vary between an almost invisible stitch that will outline the quilt blocks or being able to combine threads and stitches that will allow you to make your one of a kind work of art that is your form of self expression. With machine quilting there is machine guided or free motion. Machine guided is for straight or curved lines while free motion is for all other patterns and designs. With practice anyone can master machine quilting and they will probably love it more.
