Start A Beginner Quilting Club For Kids This Summer

A fantastic way to keep your kids busy this summer is to start a beginner quilting club for them. The quilts could be kept small and simple. Neighborhood children could meet at one house or a different home every week. Each child could gather their own scraps of materials. Having someone to guide them through the steps of quilting is neccesary but believe me once they get started on it they will fall in love with quilting. Having extra supplies on hand is important as is outlining copies of the quilt patterns for each child. It would make a great summer activity for children who need something to do.
