beginner quiltingBeginner Quilting can lead to a lifelong pastime filled with passion and love for creating beauty and awe. It can also lead to some income for you and plenty of pleasure. But beware, we hear that many quilt makers find it hard to part with their beloved works of art. Some fall into quilting by acccident and others pick it up as a hobby or because they love to sew and quilt. Whatever reason you have fallen into quilt making just make sure you have a good time doing it and you will create artwork and design style you can call your own. Even after all these years, you may have that one quilt that is not like any other ever made.

Start A Beginner Quilting Club For Kids This Summer

beginner quiltingA fantastic way to keep your kids busy this summer is to start a beginner quilting club for them. The quilts could be kept small and simple. Neighborhood children could meet at one house or a different home every week. Each child could gather their own scraps of materials. Having someone to guide them through the steps of quilting is neccesary but believe me once they get started on it they will fall in love with quilting. Having extra supplies on hand is important as is outlining copies of the quilt patterns for each child. It would make a great summer activity for children who need something to do.
