With the long and rich history of the people came the bold geometric quilts that are prized possessions today. Quilting down from at least six generations the brilliant quilts have been displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York which has brought tremendous international acclaim.
